Ro Miller is a clothing and costume maker, and a sewing teacher in Seattle, WA. He holds a BFA in Theatre Design and Production from the University of British Columbia. Ro approaches his work in theater as an opportunity to interrogate the power structures that inform accepted motifs and practices of design and fashion, with the goal of creating anti-oppressive theatre that elevates minority voices.
Ro is the wardrobe manager at Seattle Public Theater, and a frequent collaborator with Aenigma Theatre in Vancouver, BC. He also works with Little Hands Creations as a sewing teacher to elementary students, using craft skills to help people of all learning styles and abilities develop problem-solving methods that accommodate their individual needs.
